How Estonia Delivers What Ukraine Needs Now?

The Estonian state allocates 0.25% of its GDP for the defense of Ukraine every year, which is approximately €100,000,000
Estonia has taken another important step in supporting Ukraine—not just with weapons and equipment, but with a structured approach. Led by the Estonian Centre for Defence Investments, a mechanism has been created that allows Ukraine’s Armed Forces to choose directly from nearly 100 Estonian companies offering critical products and services tailored to their battlefield needs.

Why does this matter?

🔹 Focusing on real needs – Ukraine can select the exact solutions that match their immediate battlefield requirements.
🔹 The growing role of Estonia’s defence industry – Our companies have proven their ability to deliver innovative and high-quality solutions.
🔹 Long-term impact – This model lays the foundation for sustainable defence cooperation, strengthening both Ukraine’s resilience and European security.

But none of this happened overnight. From mapping companies and compiling the product catalogue to the expert committee’s detailed evaluation process—every step had to be precise.
Our team worked at full speed, engaging with companies, solving challenges, and finding solutions—ensuring that Ukraine’s defence forces receive exactly what they need most.

Once again, Estonia’s defence industry has demonstrated its commitment to supporting Ukraine—today and in the future. And if needed, we will do it again—quickly, flexibly, and with the certainty that every euro invested delivers real defence capability.
