Electronics manufacturer Jotel to participate in surveillance drone production

Jotel, an electronics manufacturing company operating in Estonia and Finland, will begin to participate in the production of state-of-the-art surveillance drones on a large scale. Jotel also joined the Estonian Defence and Space Industry Association
Jotel has entered into a partnership with a Latvian company to produce printed circuit boards for ISR drones, which are mainly used in police, border guard and national defense work, in Estonia and Finland, where the device can be used as a reconnaissance drone. In addition to their surveillance capabilities, such drones are also very useful in crisis situations, such as rescue operations.

"In a turbulent and volatile world, this is a big step that has created an opportunity to contribute even more to strengthening the national security and defense capabilities of Estonia and the Western world," commented Ilmar Petersen, Chairman of the Board of Jotel.

Jotel, which offers complete solutions in the electronics field, places great emphasis on the production of prototypes, the heart of which is a domestic printed circuit board. “Prototyping is an area where Jotel can support its customers. Rapid prototyping and testing allows companies to streamline innovation and product development, bringing new products to market faster. This gives defense companies the opportunity to stay at the forefront of technology and meet changing demands,” Petersen described the work process.

Jotel OÜ is an electronics manufacturing company with 40 years of experience, offering EMS and automation solutions, and the company also specializes in the assembly of printed circuit boards.
