More than $100 million invested in Ukrainian defense tech

Ukraine is now a global hub for defense tech. Ukraine launched BRAVE1, reformed legislation, and opened markets for Ukrainian manufacturers. The Prime Minister, The Parliament and the Ministry of Finance allocated funds for grant support. Increased profitability, freedom, and competition are bold measures that have made Ukraine the place where technologies shaping the future of global security are being born today.

With 5,000 participants and 1,500 foreign guests from more than 50 countries, Defense Tech Valley 2025 became the largest defense innovation summit, where investors saw firsthand the potential of Ukrainian products.

Announcements of more than $100 million in investments in Ukrainian defense tech were made. This is a unique opportunity for Ukraine and a powerful signal to the world: our technologies are valued and trusted for their potential:
  • NUNC Capital (Netherlands) will provide €20 million to scale promising defense companies in Ukraine.
  • Verne Capital Fund (Germany) will invest €25 million in Ukrainian defense innovations.
  • Varangians Fund (Sweden) announced a large-scale investment plan in Ukraine and has already closed its first deal. Details will be disclosed soon.
  • Oedipus Inc. will soon announce an ambitious partnership with Ukrainian defense tech.
  • Swarmer, which is developing drone swarm technology, raised $15 million from U.S. investment funds led by Broadband Capital Investments.
Over the past year, the average investment check in Ukrainian companies has grown from $300,000 to $1 million. This demonstrates both investor confidence and their readiness to scale up investments in proven solutions developed by Ukrainians.

Brave1, the largest angel investor in Ukrainian defense tech, will also continue to support Ukrainian companies and strengthen the defense innovation ecosystem. Today, Ukraine stands as the global center of defense tech, where technologies undergo the toughest tests and reach the international stage.
